Karan Johar has gotten some relief after the row over his Pakistani leading man in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.” Though his troubles regarding Fawad Khan are far from over, the Censor Board of Film Certification has granted Johar’s film a UA certificate (fit for viewing by children accompanied by adults). However, at least three intimate scenes between Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been snipped off.

Johar, apparently, personally attended the showing of “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” for the censors, who, while appreciating the film’s mature theme and aesthetics, objected to some steamy moments. Despite Johar’s arguments that these scenes were integral to the plot, they had to go. Ironically, one of them is there in the (censored) trailer!
