Mumbai — Actor-producer Ajay Devgn is set to present Marathi period drama “Vitti Dandu” which will mark his foray into regional cinema.
Marathi cinema has creatively and successfully evolved over the years, and this is the first time that Devgn’s production house will be presenting a period drama, a statement issued here said.
The trailer of “Vitti Dandu” will be attached with Devgn’s upcoming film “Singham Returns,” it added.
“Vitti Dandu” revolves around the triumph of love for the country over attachments to a loved one. The story is about the relationship between a man and his grandson.
The film stars Dilip Prabhavalkar, Ravindra Mankani, Yatin Karyekar, child artists Radhika Deore, Nishant Bhavsar, Shubhankar Aatre and others.
The movie, slated to release by this year end, is directed by Ganesh Kadam and produced by Leena Deore.
