Ranbir Kapoor on wish-list of two big directors

Ranbir Kapoor has been approached by Shoojit Sircar for a biopic on Udham Singh, the revolutionary who killed General Dwyer to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The actor has not responded either way as yet because he is busy with the Sanjay Dutt biopic, followed by his Superman drama “Dragon.” Another director in the queue is Karan Johar, who would like to make a film with him again after “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” and possibly a Shah Rukh Khan-Ranbir Kapoor movie after that.

Sanjay Kapoor back to television after 17 years

Patralekhaa Joins Rajkummar Rao and Hansal Mehta for a Web series

Patralekhaa is uniting again with her “Citylights” (2014) team of director Hansal Mehta and Rajkummar Rao for a web series that features Rao as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. She will be portraying the role of an elitist Bengali. The actress says, “Recently, I happened to discuss Bose with a friend, who wrote a book on him, and now I am doing a role in a show based on him. During “Citylights,” I gave an audition, and this time, I did a look test. That’s how Hansal works.”
