MUMBAI—“Bareilly Ki Barfi” is receiving lots of love from the audience before release, and overwhelmed by the response, the makers distributed sweets to mark the positive reception of their second song “Nazm Nazm.”

The song composed by Arko is about a sweet chemistry shared by Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon. In sync with the title and the essence of their latest song, the team distributed barfis (sweetmeats). With each content being revealed, the makers are adopting unique promotional strategies.

Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari said, “For a sweet and quirky film, it was a perfect gift for the season, and as Indians, any good start is celebrated with sweets.”

“Bareilly Ki Barfi” is Tiwari’s second film as a director, and Juno Chopra is the creative producer. Written by “Dangal” writer-director Nitesh Tiwari and Shreyas Jain, the film, produced by Junglee Pictures and BR Studios, is scheduled to release on Aug. 18.
