MUMBAI— Here is what Parineeti Chopra has to say about shooting for Yash Raj Films’ “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar” with Arjun Kapoor in Delhi. The smog-smothered capital of India is under siege as at no other time after the invasion of the Mughals, though in a different way: the citizens of the metropolis, as well as sister cities Gurgaon, NOIDA and Faridabad, are facing smog to the extent that visibility extends only to less than fifty feet!

Said Chopra to a portal, “I have to take steam every day, and I am constantly on medication. My head and chest started hurting within the first two days of work. While shooting, our eyes are constantly watering, and my throat is always scratchy. A lot of people on set keep falling sick. To put it mildly, it’s really bad at the moment, and it is directly affecting our health. We have to wear masks too, so shooting is difficult.”

Parineeti Chopra is reuniting with her “Ishaqzaade” co-star, Arjun Kapoor, for this Dibakar Banerjee thriller, as well as Vipul Shah’s second installment in the “Namastey London” franchise, “Namastey Canada.” “Arjun and I have a certain comfort level between us,” she said. But we are sure they would prefer to shoot in Canada!
