MUMBAI — Actress Priyanka Chopra, who plays a police officer in the forthcoming film “Jai Gangaajal,” on Feb. 12 unveiled the second trailer of the Prakash Jha directorial and said it packs in a stronger punch.
“With dhishoom (punches), drama and full on power, check out the ‘Jai Gangaajal’ trailer 2,’” Chopra tweeted.
“Jai Gangaajal” is a sequel to the 2003 crime film “Gangaajal” and features Chopra in the lead role with Jha appearing in a supporting role. The film also features actors Manav Kaul, Rahul Bhat and Queen Harish.
In the trailer, the “Mary Kom” actress can be seen breaking the bones of the goons of Lakhisarai district and challenging the local MLA of Bankipur, played by Kaul.
“Jai Gangaajal,” releasing March 4, revisits the dusty heartland of central India and examines the society-police relationship.
