Ranbir Kapoor is one of the few Bollywood stars, who hasn't taken to Twitter or Facebook so far. The actor believes that social media takes away the mystery of being a star. Though the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, who are the biggest stars of the country, have proven this theory wrong.

But Ranbir seems to have bit the bullet finally, and decided to get on to social media platoforms to promote his forthcoming film "Bombay Velvet," directed by Anurag Kashyap.

If news is to be believed, Ranbir has already joined, and his accounts will be verified very soon. His username is RanbirKa6000r, and he will share updates on his forthcoming film through various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Snapchat and Vine. Buzz also is that the actor is planning to stay online for six hours, as a tie up with the brand Lenovo 6000 (which he is promoting) starting 2 pm IST Wednesday, Jan. 21.

We are sure Ranbir fans are already cheering with excitement. But we are still waiting for Ranbir to start posting, and confirm this bit of information.
