Ranveer Singh tries to make every role different by getting the look for the part right. The actor has never shied away from experimenting with the styling of his characters. Whether it was the mustache and long hair in "Ram Leela" or his clean shaven look in "Kill Dil." But for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani," the actor has gone one step ahead and made the bold decision to go bald.

But that's not the only preparation the actor has done for this part. Apart from shaving off his head, the actor has also worked on his voice. Ranveer has changed his voice to suit his royal character better. He has developed a deeper and heavier quality to his usual voice. Apparently, it was after wearing those Maratha turbans and dhoti that he went into this heavier tone.

"He [Ranveer] himself said that after wearing all these royal costumes, his voice has changed into something more powerful,” said designer Anju Modi, who has styled the look of Ranveer, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the film.
