MUMBAI—Ranveer Singh, who recently kick-started the first schedule of Zoya Akhtar’s “Gully Boy,” shared a physical transformation picture of himself.

The actor, who had beefed up for Alauddin Khilji’s character in “Padmaavat,” has now undergone an amazing change for this Excel Entertainment film. He has shed all the weight and muscles that he had gained and is now in an (alarmingly) lean avatar.

The actor took to his social media, sharing the picture and captioning it, “#padmaavat —> #gullyboy.” “Gully Boy” is Singh’s second collaboration with Akhtar after “Dil Dhadakne Do.”

The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the leads. Inspired by the slum rappers of Mumbai’s Dharavi. Singh is playing the role of a street rapper. Singh has been a fanatic for getting into the skin of a role, but we hope he does not overdo it this time – he has always done so.
