MUMBAI — Superstar Shah Rukh Khan says his upcoming movie with Alia Bhatt is not a typical hero-heroine film but is a “slice-of-life” film.

There were reports that Khan would play a ‘love guru’ in Gauri Shinde’s film, but the actor dismissed it.

“I am not playing a love guru in the film. It’s a slice-of-life film. So, typical hero-heroine will not be there in the film,” Khan told PTI.

“It’s a very interesting and different film. I have never done a slice-of-life kind of film,” he said.

The 50-year-old star indicated that he is not doing a cameo in the film.

“It’s a 42-43 day film, and I have done a lot of work, as I am playing one of the protagonists. But I can’t take away from the importance of other guys and girls,” he said.

Khan also said he enjoyed working with Bhatt.

“I liked working with Alia and Gauri; it was great fun,” he added.

In related news, Bhatt recently posted a photo of herself and Parineeti Chopra giving SRK a smooch on each cheek with the caption, "Pout away with SRK !!! @iamsrk @parineetichopra #FAN."
