MUMBAI — Sunny Deol has started the hunt for the leading lady opposite his son Karan Deol. This will be Sunny Deol’s third directorial after “Dillagi” (1999) and “Ghayal Once Again” (2016).
But the buzz is that the leading lady of the film will be chosen from Delhi, as the film is based there. The film is tentatively titled “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas,” after the iconic Dharmendra song “Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass” from “Blackmail,” written by Rajendra Krishna and composed by Kalyanji-Anandji. The criteria for choosing the girl is that the girl needs to hail from Delhi, and her age should be between 16 to 20 years. Sunny Deol feels that a Delhi girl will understand and have the nuances of the character that is being written for the romantic action drama.
Sunny Deol will be visiting the capital city during the first week of October to interact with young girls. Those now living elsewhere, if interested, may visit www.vijaytafilmscasting.com for details.
