MUMBAI—That age is just a number is proved by the tenacity of a Lucknow woman, all of 85 years old, who makes her acting debut in the T-Series Films and Panorama Studios’ “Raid,” as main antagonist Saurabh Shukla’s mother!

Ajay Devgn, who was shooting with Joshi, went out of the way to make her comfortable on the sets. He would even make sure that her scenes were given utmost priority and she would not have to wait on the sets. The whole cast and crew was very accommodating and took great care of her!

Director Raj Kumar Gupta said, “Pushpa Joshi aunty was a darling on the set. Everyone wanted to be around her because she is charming, graceful and has a great sense of humor. I was really flabbergasted by her professionalism. She remembered her lines, she was always smiling and was a bundle of energy. For me, she is also a living example that if you want to do something from your heart, then there can be nothing stopping you. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and I wish her good health and good luck.”
