The Mindy Project” fans have another reason to rejoice. The romantic comedy television series on Hulu, which is halfway through its fourth season, has been renewed for season 5.

The popular show, which is created, executive produced, and co-written by Indian American actor Mindy Kaling, also stars her in the lead role.

“The Mindy Project” follows Mindy Lahiri, a skilled ob/gyn doctor navigating the tricky waters of both her personal and professional life, as she pursues her dreams of becoming the perfect woman, finding the perfect man and getting her perfect romantic comedy ending.

The series also stars Chris Messina, Ed Weeks, Ike Barinholtz, Beth Grant, Xosha Roquemore and Fortune Feimster.

Although Hulu has yet to announce a premiere date or episode count for season 5, the fourth season’s finale episode is set to air on July 5.

The streaming site picked up the series for a 26-episode season 4 in May 2015 just days after Fox cancelled it after three seasons.
