CHENNAI — Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan May 2 unveiled the first look poster of his long-delayed bilingual film "Vishwaroopam 2," tweeting the announcement in three languages.
Last month, Haasan confirmed that the project has been revived and the sequel "Vishwaroopam" will release later this year, after nearly two years in cold storage.
The movie stars Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose and Shekhar Kapur, and will explore the mother-son relationship between Haasan and Waheeda Rehman, who plays a pivotal role.
The film, which features music by Ghibran, was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi, and has been dubbed in Telugu.
Haasan plays a spy in the film, which he co-wrote with Atul Tiwari.
