MUMBAI—The story of the most loved god, “Vighnaharta Ganesha,” telecast by Sony Entertainment Television, has won audiences and crossed the landmark number of 200 episodes. Produced by Contiloe Pictures Pvt. Ltd. “Vighnaharta Ganesha” is the first Indian television show to use Motion Capture technology to display a wide number of special effects.

Abhimanyu Singh, Producer, Contiloe Pictures Pvt. Ltd., said, “‘Vighnaharta Ganesha’ has been a great journey, and this landmark reiterates our strength in telling some great historical and mythological stories to a new-age audience. Our teams have worked night and day to pull off Motion Capture on a daily basis, which has happened for the first time ever. We are thankful to the audiences for their continued love for the show.”

The show narrates some untold stories about Lord Ganesh. It has been dubbed in Tamil as “Vinayagar” and aired on Sun TV from Oct. 9, 2017, and in Malayalam as “Mahaganapathi” on Surya TV from Nov. 20, 2017.
