Britain’s royal couple, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, are on a seven-day diplomatic visit to India and Bhutan. But as always, during the royal tour, the spotlight was on the Duchess of Cambridge and her choice of outfits.

While what she wore caught the world’s attention, one dress in particular stirred a frenzy among women around the world, and the lucky Indian designer of that creation happened to be Indian designer Anita Dongre.

Mass hysteria erupted over owning a piece of that breezy summer dress with Mughal motifs after the Duchess’ pictures in the outfit, at a high-profile cricket match in Mumbai April 10, went viral. And as hundreds of fashion-hungry people searched for the dress, it eventually led to the crash of the designer’s website.
