Indian textiles and fabrics are already a rage in foreign markets, and now Indian designers will enthrall the international fashion industry at the first-ever “French European Indian Fashion Week,” to be held on the first level of the Eiffel Tower in Paris from Oct. 21 to 23, a press release reported.
FEIFW is an initiative by the World News Network to promote Indian designers and fashion on a global platform.
The Fashion Week will feature runway shows by Indian designers, including Rocky S. and Poonam Bhagat. The event will be attended by European, British and Indian celebrities and media; and French dignitaries.
“Our vision is to promote, nurture and incubate emerging talent from India that can cater to a global audience, and we are also getting designers from Italy, Paris, London, the Netherlands, Switzerland, South Africa, Zurich, India and other countries,” Satish Reddy, FEIFW president, said in a press release.
