Two decades ago when young Dr. Zoya walked into the life of Dr. Ahmer Ansari, their lives affected millions of South Asian television viewers. Now, noted writer Kamlesh Pandey and producer Rajan Shahi have rewritten this epic Pakistani serial for Indian audiences.

Sony Entertainment Television has launched what they term “the biggest romance on Indian television” in the form of “Kuch To Log Kahenge,” an adaptation of the cult Pakistani “Dhoop Kinare.” Set in Bhopal with the backdrop of a hospital, “Kuch To Log Kahenge” depicts the story of two people with a 14-year age difference who fall in love. The show marks the return of Mohnish Bahl in a lead role on the small screen. Kritika Kamra plays the female lead. Veterans like Alok Nath, Vijay Kashyap and Rukhsar and new actors form the rest of the cast.
