Sony Entertainment Television with DJ’s Creative Unit are offering what they call “a refreshing, captivating and fun-filled family drama, “Parvarrish… Kuchh Khatti Kuchh Meethi.” Exploring the world of modern-day parenting and various emotions attached with it, the highs and the lows and the pains and the pleasures of parent-child relation rooted in real life situations, the show premiered Nov. 21.
Two sisters, Sweety Ahluwalia and Pinky Ahuja, are caught up in a sibling rivalry in their attempts to be better parents. Pinky believes that one needs to be a friend to one’s children, whereas Sweety believes in being a stricter disciplinarian.
Shweta Tiwari and Rupali Ganguly essay Sweety and Pinky respectively. Vivek Mushran, Vishal Singh, Sparsh Khanchandani and Anchal Munjral play the other important characters.
