Nokia Hosts Sky Party on Lumia Aircraft

Move over yacht parties, it’s time to take theme parties to a whole new altitude. Nokia hosted the first-ever sky party Jan. 25 for the lucky winners of the “Spot the Lumia” competition which was announced as part of Nokia’s “Amazing Everyday Campaign.”

Thousands of contestants entered the contest. To participate, consumers had to spot Nokia Lumia either on planes, the outdoors, at Nokia retail stores or even on television and then upload the picture on www.facebook.com/nokiaindia.

The winners were joined by celebrities Tisca Chopra, Meiyang Chang, Rajat Barmecha, Miss India World 2010 Manasvi Mamgain and Miss India 2010 contestant Gurpreet Bedi. The celebrities interacted with the lucky winners in the sky. The party was hosted by stand-up comic artist Papa CJ.

“The ‘Amazing Everyday’ journey has been designed to live and share the consumer’s everyday adventures. The campaign is aimed at reminding people that even everyday routine can be amazing and there are little adventures waiting for everyone around the corner,” said Prashanth Mani, Nokia India general manager.

Branded entirely in new Lumia colors, Jet Airways was the venue for this party.
