Bollywood newbies Nargis Fakhri and Shazhan Padamsee turned up on the last of Wills India Fashion Week to walk the ramp for young designers Sakshee Pradhan and Sulakshana Monga respectively.
Fakhri, who made her debut in 2011 with “Rockstar” opposite Ranbir Kapoor, looked chic in a silk sequined beige blouse and pants.
“It was a different experience all together. Being a show stopper added an extra oomph factor. I was completely transformed into a glam diva. I felt so glamorous that I don’t have words to describe it,” said Fakhri.
Padamsee walked the ramp in an ivory dress, adorned with net, frills and a train, for Monga, whose fall-winter collection was all about colors, textures and patterns.
“I am feeling like a princess. This dress is a piece of art. It is a young collection and it’s so different because she (Monga) has experimented with Indian and Western styles. I was unsure if I would look good but the moment I was on the ramp, it was amazing,” said Padamsee.
