Hamid Daudani and Group Present 19th Show

Hamid Daudani and Group brought some drama to San Diego, Calif. with their latest play, “Aysa Bhi Hota Hai” (Even Things like this Happen). Director, writer, and producer Daudani put on the play with help from his crew at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts April 21.

According to a statement from Daudani, the play was a “90s Bollywood” emotional rollercoaster, musical and comedy with a happy ending. The story takes place at a café where various characters share their aspirations, struggles and experience friendship and love.

The show was the group’s 19th production, and it was a full house, Daudani said.

“I like what I do and my audience loves us with open arms,” Daudani said. “If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be here for all of these years.”
