A Santa Clara, California based Kovair Software, an application lifecycle management and IT services management company with an India development, quality and support center in Kolkata, has acquired Customer Systems International, an Australia-based customer relationship management company with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Terms were not disclosed.
"We have been watching the steady growth CSI has had in the Australian market, and now with the combined backing of our U.S. and India operations, CSI and Kovair can grow from strength to strength,” said Bipin Shah, chief executive officer and chairman of Kovair Software.
“A CRM company was a great fit given the integrations we presently provide within our ALM and ITSM solution suites,” he added.
A new Australian entity, Kovair Pty. Ltd., has been formed to leverage products and workforces of the two companies.
"This has been in the making for over two years and both CSI and Kovair have enjoyed a great partnership bringing ALM and ITSM to CSI’s Australian clients,” said Poh Cheung, chief operating officer of CSI.
“This acquisition is the best outcome and guarantees further growth for CSI and Kovair," added Dr. Richard Satur, managing director of Kovair Pty Ltd. “Our clients will benefit, the Australian economy will benefit and our current and future shareholders will benefit from this strategic acquisition.”
