Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Grand Hyatt Goa on India’s west coast. The first Hyatt hotel to be located in North Goa, Grand Hyatt Goa is a resort and spa built in the architectural style of a 17th century Indo-Portuguese palace.
Located on the waters of Bambolim Bay, it is situated just over four miles from the capital city of Panaji. Grand Hyatt Goa joins Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, located in South Goa.
Spread across 28 acres, the hotel has 314 guestrooms and suites, including a Royal Villa, seven restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool complex, and an indoor swimming pool. Shamana Spa at Grand Hyatt Goa has 19 treatment suites in facilities spread across 34,000 square feet.
The resort also offers 32,000 square feet of banquet facilities for weddings, social events, conferences, and small and large meetings. Function rooms are located across two floors and include the Grand Ballroom. The lobby level also has two meeting rooms and two board rooms.
