Infogain, a provider of technology solutions and services, named Ayan Mukerji president and COO. Prior to Infogain, Mukerji was chief executive of media and telecom and product engineering at Wipro. He also worked at European Operations. Most recently, Mukerji served as president and board member at Zinnov, a research and consulting company. Mukerji is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Management in Kolkata and Indian Institute of Technology. He serves on various boards in Silicon Valley.

• Quantitative Brokers, an independent provider of advanced algorithms and data-driven analytics to clients in the futures and U.S. cash treasury markets, named Deepak Begari CTO and as a member of its executive committee. The Indian American executive joins QB from Bloomberg Tradebook, where he served as a senior product manager. Prior to Tradebook, Begari held various senior management roles in technology development and product management at leading firms, including Redi Global Technologies, Pragma Trading and ITG.

Sound Physicians announced that Dr. Lisa Shah is joining the organization as chief innovation officer, charged with leading clinical innovation and transformation across its 300-plus hospital partners nationwide. Shah comes to Sound Physicians from Evolent Health, where she served as senior VP of clinical operations and network. Prior to that she worked at Clinovations. Shah is a graduate of Duke University and completed residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Chicago. She also earned a master’s degree in public health from the Harris School of Public Policy.

STRATACACHE announced that Manish Kumar will lead all Asia-Pacific operations in the region as senior VP and managing director of Asia-Pacific. Kumar first joined STRATACACHE in 2013, initiating and overseeing growth in the Indian market while leading sales, development, customer relations and operations in this strategic market. He is a graduate of the Australian National University. Kumar has also served as VP at ContentKeeper Technologies.

Accume Partners named Sanjay Bobby Marwaha as the firm’s U.S. risk and regulatory advisory practice leader. Prior to joining Accume, Marwaha most recently was at BDO as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also previously worked for JPMorgan Chase and General Motors Asset Management. Marwaha earned a bachelor's degree in management and accounting from Niagara University and went on to earn a degrees from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School.

The University of Michigan Board of Regents has approved a second five-year appointment for Raju Balakrishnan as dean of the College of Business. The reappointment will run through June 30, 2023. Balakrishnan joined the College of Business as dean in 2013 and also serves as professor of management. Under his leadership, COB has experienced enrollment growth of more than 20 percent and credit-hour growth of more than 33 percent. This growth is due in part to several curricular and program initiatives as well as new partnerships with universities in China, India, Taiwan and Jordan.
