Intel announced the appointment of Raja Koduri as chief architect, senior VP of the newly formed Core and Visual Computing Group, and GM of a new initiative to drive edge computing solutions. In this position, the Indian American executive will expand Intel’s leading position in integrated graphics for the PC market with high-end discrete graphics solutions for a broad range of computing segments. Koduri, 49, joins Intel from AMD, where he most recently served as senior VP and chief architect of the Radeon Technologies Group. Prior to AMD, Koduri served as director of graphics architecture at Apple Inc., where he helped establish a leadership graphics sub-system for the Mac product family and led the transition to Retina computer displays.

Ally Financial Inc. announced that Dinesh Chopra has joined the company as its new chief strategy officer. Chopra joins Ally from Citigroup where he served as global head of strategy, retail bank, mortgage, fintech and digital payments. Prior to Citi, he held leadership positions in strategy and banking at Capital One and McKinsey & Company. Chopra holds an M.B.A. from MIT's Sloan School of Management, a master's degree from Clarkson University and a bachelor's degree from the National Institute of Technology in Trichy, India.

Syncsort, a Big Iron to Big Data global solutions firm, announced that Clearlake Capital Group Partner Prashant Mehrotra was named among its new board of directors following a recent $1.26 billion acquisition by Centerbridge Partners L.P. The distinguished group of industry leaders, which also includes former IBM executive Mike Rhodin and former Syncsort CEO Lonne Jaffe, among others, provides Syncsort deep knowledge and significant industry relationships that will help inform the business strategy and drive the next phase of value creation for the company, it said.

IndiSoft, a technology development firm that specializes in systems for the financial services industry, has added Amit Sheth to its advisory board. Sheth brings significant experience in the banking and financial services industries and will play a vital role in IndiSoft’s business strategy, it said. Sheth is one of the co-founders of Aurionpro, a global technology and solutions provider headquartered in Mumbai. As one of the key drivers of growth for the company, Sheth has developed new business alliances and strategic partnerships as well as accelerated the company’s long-term growth since it was founded in 1997. Sheth previously had key positions at Twentieth Century Finance and Lloyds Securities.

eQHealth Solutions, a leader in population health management for government and commercial clients, announced Dr. Sam Ambewadikar has joined the organization as the new senior medical director of the Florida government operations. Ambewadikar is a board-certified pediatrician. Prior to joining eQHealth Solutions, he served as chief medical information officer in Humana’s Care Delivery Organization and most recently as medical director for Healthcare Informatics at DaVita Medical Group of Florida. Ambewadikar also served as a pediatrician and medical director at Community Health Centers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He earned his medical degree from Boston University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
