• Immediate past-president of the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of USA Vinod Jhunjhunwala announced that Indian American entrepreneur Suresh Iyer is the foundation's new president. Iyer is the co-founder and chairman of Infospectrum, a software products company based out of Southern California. He has been associated with Ekal for many years and has served in several capacities to support the organization. Most recently he served as the chairman of the board of directors of Ekal. His passion and dedication to the organization is exemplar and I look forward to seeing Ekal grow under his leadership, Jhunjhunwala said.

Envoy, a global immigration and workforce mobility company, named Manu S. Sivanandam its new COO. Sivanandam joins Envoy with more than 15 years of operations, strategy and marketing experience. Prior to assuming the COO role at Envoy, Sivanandam served as VP of marketing and strategy at Upright Law and VP of customer marketing and business operations at Orbitz Worldwide. He was also a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Sivanandam holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of arts from Cambridge University.

Bunge Limited named Vinita Bali to its board of directors. Bali, 62, served as CEO of Britannia Industries. Prior to that, she was head of the business strategy practice at the Zyman Group. She started her career in India at a Tata Group company in 1977, and joined Cadbury India in 1980, She has also held senior positions in marketing and general management at The Coca-Cola Company. Currently, Bali serves as an advisory board member of PwC India, and is a non-executive director on the boards of Smith & Nephew plc. Bali holds an M.B.A. from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies at the University of Mumbai, and a B.A. from the University of Delhi.

Ashitkumar Vyas has been named talent acquisition manager for the Mohawk Valley Health System. In this position, Vyas will apply professional talent planning, sourcing, recruitment and on-board methods in the development, implementation and administration of MVHS talent management goals, systems, processes, policies and procedures. Prior to joining MVHS, Vyas served as the senior manager of talent acquisition at Webxl-Collabera Inc. Vyas earned duel bachelor degrees in law and commerce at M.S. University of Baroda in Vadodara, India.

Vivek Lall has joined Lockheed Martin as VP for strategy and business development. Lall previously was CEO of U.S. and international strategic development at General Atomics as well as president and CEO of Reliance Industries. He also worked at Boeing. Lall is a graduate of Carleton University, the City University of Seattle, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Wichita State University.
