ServiceSource announced the appointment of Madhu Ranganathan to its Board of Directors. Ranganathan has also been unanimously approved by the board to serve as chair of the Audit Committee. For the past nine years the Indian American executive has served as the CFO for [24]7, a software and services company that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to dramatically improve customer experience. Prior to joining [24]7, Ranganathan held executive leadership roles at server and storage company Rackable Systems, advanced networking equipment company Redback Networks, services platform Jamcracker and e-Business software provider Backweb Technologies, as well as public accounting experience with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLC.

Zenefits named Souvik Das senior VP of engineering. Das brings more than 20 years of product development, technology and operations expertise to Zenefits’ expanding leadership team. He most recently served as SVP of engineering at healthcare technology company Grand Rounds. Prior to Grand Rounds, Das was the CTO of Capital One’s Auto Finance business unit. He also held technology leadership roles at Netscape and PayPal.

Penn State Harrisburg Chancellor Mukund S. Kulkarni plans to retire on June 30, 2018, after more than 30 years of service to Penn State. Kulkarni became the chancellor of Penn State Harrisburg in 2010. He joined the university in 1985 as a member of the business faculty at Penn State Harrisburg, and advanced in faculty rank and leadership posts at the college prior to becoming chancellor. He also has served as director of undergraduate studies, director of the School of Business Administration, and senior associate dean for academic affairs. Kulkarni earned bachelor's and master's degrees in his native India, an M.B.A. from Marshall University and a doctorate from the University of Kentucky.

Incedo announced that Nitin Seth will join the company as CEO. Previously, Seth was the COO of Flipkart, India’s largest E-commerce company. He also served as managing director and country head for India at Fidelity International and director of McKinsey’s Global Knowledge Centre.

Dr. Nidhi Kapoor has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as its first neurohospitalist, combining advanced training in neurology with a specialized understanding of caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Kapoor also serves as an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Neurology. In addition to treating patients, she conducts research and trains residents. Kapoor obtained her medical degree from Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Medical College in Solapur, India. She completed her neurology residency in the Department of Neurology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Mitesh Popat, who has been filling in as the chief executive officer of Marin Community Clinics since February, has been appointed to the post. Popat, 36, lives in Novato, Calif. He had been Marin Community Clinics’ chief medical officer since November 2013, and will continue as the organization’s medical leader until a new chief medical officer is hired. He received bachelor’s degrees in economics and biological sciences from U.C. Irvine and medical and master’s degrees from Tufts School of Medicine. Prior to joining Marin Community Clinics, he was associate medical director of La Clinica de la Raza.
