Voya Financial Inc. announced it has appointed Santhosh Keshavan as chief information officer. Keshavan joins Voya from Regions Financial, an Alabama-based bank-holding company where he served as CIO for core banking. His 22-year career in IT also includes senior leadership positions with Fidelity Investments and SunGard. The Indian American executive studied computer science at the University of Mysore in India. He went on to obtain his M.B.A. in information systems from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Bright Now! Dental named Dr. Vidhyalakshmi Sampath to the Colorado Dental Board. Sampath practices at Bright Now! Dental’s Parker, Colo.-based office and serves as the clinical lead across all 14 Bright Now! Dental offices in Colorado. Born and raised in India, Sampath received the Gold Medal for Dentistry upon graduation from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 1999. She then came to the United States and received a second dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2004. She joined Bright Now! Dental in 2006.

Hoonuit named Shivani Stumpf CTO. Prior to joining Hoonuit, Stumpf served as senior director of product management at Minneapolis-based SPS Commerce. Stumpf previously held technology leadership positions at Sport Ngin and W3i. She holds a master's degree in computer science from St. Cloud State University and a bachelor's degree from Manipal Institute of Technology in India.

Marina Biotech Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative therapeutics for hypertension, arthritis, pain and oncology, named Amit Shah as its CFO. Prior to joining Marina, Shah served as senior director of finance – ERP at Young’s Market Company. Prior to Young’s, he was the VP of finance and accounting and acting CFO of Insightra Medical Inc.  Shah has also worked at IgDraSol Inc., ISTA Pharmaceuticals, Spectrum Pharmaceuticals and Caraco Pharmaceuticals Laboratories.  He is a graduate of the University of Mumbai.

First Tennessee Bank named Somesh Kasibhatla senior VP and director of treasury management products. Prior to joining First Tennessee, he was group VP and head of digital systems rollout and client transitions at SunTrust Bank. He previously held leadership positions at First Niagara Bank, M&T Bank, Gurley Precision Instruments and the Oil and Natural Gas Commission of India. He earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from Osmania University in India, a master's degree in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Company has appointed Dr. Saurabh Saha as senior VP and global head of translational medicine in the company’s R&D organization. Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Saha was a venture partner at Atlas Venture where he held leadership positions with many of its portfolio biotech companies, including as chief medical officer of Synlogic and CEO of Delinia until its sale to Celgene in early 2017. In 2008, Saha established the translational research and development organization BioMed Valley Discoveries where he served as chief scientific officer and later president. Saha holds medical and doctorate degrees in cancer genetics from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School, Oxford University and the California Institute of Technology.
