SOMERSET, New Jersey — Victims and survivors of cancer will be honored through a special slide show at the SKN Foundation’s annual gala, taking place Sept. 17 at the Marigold Hotel here.

Actor and author Lisa Ray, a cancer survivor and “thriver,” will share the story of her battle with multiple myeloma, in addition to walking the runway as the showstopper for international fashion designer to the stars, Joy Mitra.

Fox News radio and television personality Vipp Jaswal will emcee the evening’s program, which will include entertainment by singer/songwriter Falu Shah.

In addition to Mitra’s fashion show, the evening will also spotlight “real people” who are creating change in their community and will walk the ramp in support of the cause, including Giving Back Foundation Indian American founder Meera Gandhi, NY1 and AVS host Joya Dass, and actors Sonny Chatrath and Deepti Nair.
