Henna Sanghvi, a beautiful 16-year-old, was crowned “Miss Fullerton Teen USA 2018” March 26 in front of a sold-out crowd at the Hilton Irvine in Irvine, Calif.
The teen queen, a junior at Canyon High School in California, will represent Fullerton Teen at the 2018 Miss California Teen USA Pageant, which will be held Dec. 1-3, 2017 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Sanghvi, who aspires to own a retail and online fashion company in the future, had been training for the pageant for two months before her win, according to a press release. Her trainer was Giselle Boone, a well-known modeling scout and runway coach and a three-time teen state winner’s coach for the USA System.
Sanghvi, a trained Bollywood dancer and an avid guitarist, will now be working alongside other beauty queens in teaching young people about the dangers of cyber and girl-on-girl bullying as well as promoting AIDS awareness. Her own platform, the press release added, is helping children suffering from cleft lips, especially in third world countries.
She has received numerous awards such as ‘Top of Tribe’ in all three years of high school, National Honors Society Award, California Scholarship Federation Award, Most Spirited Volleyball Player Award, Scholar Athlete, MVP, and the Presidential Fitness Award.
