BREA, Calif. — Swami Tejomayanandji, global head of the Chinmaya Mission, along with Swami Ishwaranandji, head of CMLA, and Acharaya Mahadevji visited the Siddhivinayak temple here July 4.

Swami Ishwaranandji praised the efforts put in place by Shilpa and Sarang Hardas in building the Siddhivinayak temple and creating a cultural center to promote culture and art.

The temple was established six years ago by the Hardas family in memory of Sarang Hardas’s father, Dr. D.W. Hardas, who had dedicated his life to public service as a medical doctor.

Swami Tejomayanandji talked about freedom, independence and interdependence, and the responsibilities that every individual receives by enjoying freedom.

The program was followed by an Indian classical music performance by Swagata Chakraborty, along with Abhiman Kaushal and Gopal Marathe.
