  • Las Vegas Nev. is known by many names from the Sin City, to The City of Night, and they are all truly earned monikers. Vegas is a city completely unlike any other. No other destination can duplicate the energy and ambiance of Las Vegas.

Sitting in the heart of the South Nevada desert, Las Vegas is famous for many things. Most prominently of which might be the fabled Vegas strip, which features some of the most recognizable landmarks in America; from its welcome sign to its neon lightshows. The strip features lavishly decorated casinos and restaurants, typically with themes evoking exotic destinations or romantic settings.

In regard to restaurant life, Vegas is known world wide for its famous buffets such as the ones at the Bellagio, the Grand or Planet Hollywood to name a few. Diners can get their fill of some of the finest foods around from breakfast to dinner 24 hours a day.

Some of Las Vegas’s most famous attractions are its hotels. Some of them offer an experience within itself, for example the Mirage Hotel has a volcano that erupts hourly as well as an in-door tropical rainforest. The MGM grand has a lion exhibit, spas and salons, and even two wedding chapels for the adventurous types.

The Casinos in Las Vegas are nothing short of epic. They are huge and have every type of game imaginable. Since gambling is legal in Nevada, Vegas has become a gambler’s Mecca as people from all over the world come to the city in hope of hitting the jackpot.

Las Vegas would be sure to yield a vacation chalk full of excitement and intrigue, but be careful, it is one of the more expensive travel destinations in the country. Even so, a trip to this Sin City is like being in a movie, a surreal experience worth spending a little extra on.
