MUMBAI— Rohit Shetty’s “Simmba” just got bigger. Ajay Devgn, Shetty’s fave hero, will be doing a cameo in an action sequence in the film along with Ranveer Singh. Devgn and Shetty, separately, had always talked about the dream of making a Hollywood-like mix of franchises in Hindi cinema (and “Simmba” will be one if – or we should more rightly say “when,” as expected, it is a hit), and “Singham” Devgn will meet “Sangram Bhalerao” Singh.

Shetty, an action choreographer himself, naturally wants this to be the biggest, grandest action sequence ever, though it has not been revealed whether Devgn’s cameo will be in the climax or somewhere else in the film. Shetty will naturally incorporate the famous line of Bajirao Singham, “Aata Majhi Satakli (Now I’ve got mad!)” in the sequence.

The film is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster “Temper” that had featured NTR Jr. and is produced by Karan Johar. It will be the last release of the year as of now.
