After a tough fight with 20 other contestants, model Arshi Khan was selected as one of the finalists for the Ms. Bikini Online 2014 pageant.
Speaking after her selection, Khan said, “I am happy to be selected among one of the finalists. I wish all the other contestants the very best and am working on my body to tone myself up for the grand finale next month.”
Ten girls are set to compete for the title of “Ms. Bikini Online India,” according to a press release, and designer Randell Gomes would design the bikinis for the finale.
The judges include Bollywood fashion photographer Raju Asrani, who said, “Arshi Khan deserved to make it to the coveted position as she was poised, graceful and talented.”
The pageant selection marks a hat-trick for Khan, who was earlier crowned Miss Glory Earth 2014 and Miss Maharashtra Global Tourism. She is set to represent the state of Maharashtra at the Miss Global Tourism 2014 pageant to be held in May.
Afghanistan-born Khan was schooled in Bhopal, where she did theater since her early childhood. She then moved to Mumbai to pursue acting and modeling. Khan got a break in Tamil film “Malli Mishtu,” where she played the lead role opposite Tamil star Naresh.
