Mixed Martial Arts or MMA is one the most aggressive contact sports in the world. Akshay Kumar (playing David Fernandes) and Sidharth Malhotra (playing Monty Fernandes) have trained hard to portray their characters of MMA fighters.

Akshay has trained in karate and few other combat techniques earlier, but for Sidharth it was a new and much tougher learning experience.

Director Karan Malhotra created a fictitious tournament called R2F, which has two Indians - Akshay and Sidharth - fighting for the championship, with an award money of Rs. 9 crore. But for the two estranged brothers the fight is not just about the money or the title, but a very personal battle.

International stunt coordinators such as Eric Brown and Justin Yu worked on making the MMA combat look as real as possible. It combines various forms such as Jujitsu, Taekwondo, Judo, Chinese martial arts and others.

This is the first time the mixed martial arts will feature in a Bollywood film.
