MUMBAI — Tahir Raj Bhasin made a powerful debut as the baddie in Yash Raj Films’ “Mardaani” last year, even winning an award or two. The youngster will now be seen in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s “Force 2” with John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha.

Bhasin, a film studies graduate from Australia who stuck it out to get a suitable first film in Mumbai, won rave reviews by holding his own against a seasoned performer like Rani Mukerji, and in a readers’ survey, the Bombay Times Celebex Poll judged him the hottest baddie in town.

“Force 2,” a gritty action drama, will be shot in Budapest for two months, and Bhasin’s character has gray shades.
