MUMBAI — With the vision to create a platform for great stories, irrespective of their genre and language, Priyanka Chopra and her production house, Purple Pebble Pictures, have entered regional cinema big time, and their Marathi venture “Ventilator,” also their debut, awaits an early release.
Now Purple Pebble Pictures have proudly announced that their debut Punjabi film, “Sarvann,” which began early this year, has progressed, and its second schedule took off on Ganesh Chaturthi day Sept. 5.
Produced by Madhu Chopra, co-produced by Siddharth Chopra and directed by Karaan Guliani, “Sarvann” is a moving narrative of a young NRI returning to India to find his roots after he accidentally discovers his true identity. The movie stars Amrinder Gill, Simi Chehail and Ranjit Bawa, and is written by Amberdeep Singh with music by Jatinder Shah. The first schedule of the ambitious venture has been shot in Canada.
