Yes, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra could reunite in Yash Raj Film's venture "Sultan." If everything goes well, the audience will get to see this pair on the big screen once again after a gap of 7 years. The last time the two paired-up was for "God Tussi Great Ho" in 2008. They made a hit pair in films like "Salaam-E-Ishq" and "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" before that.

Salman announced the release date for "Sultan," which is Eid 2016, with a teaser. But he did not reveal who is lady would be. Word is strong that it would be Priyanka.

"Sultan" is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who previously worked with Priyanka in the box office hit, "Gunday."

Earlier, Deepika Padukone's name had cropped up to play the part. Kangana Ranaut had also been approached for the film, but she had already committed her dates to Vishal Bhardwaj's film.

The shooting of "Sultan" will begin December this year and continue into 2016. Priyanka will finish shooting the first season of American TV series "Quantico" in December and could have dates available for "Sultan."

Yash Raj Films' will make an official announcement and resolve the mystery around Salman's leading lady in the coming days.

Meanwhile, in "Sultan," Salman plays a wrestler from Haryana named Sultan Ali Khan. Unlike his other roles, Salman will go through a lot of prep for his character in this film.
