"Naagin," the show on snakes, shapeshifters and snake charmers, gained immense popularity. People love the chemistry between Arjun Bijlani and Mouni Roy, so much so that the show pushed popular shows like "Sasural Simar Ka" and "Diya Aur Baati Hum" way behind.
According to the latest update, the show which was supposed to come to an end sometime in March but has been extended to May. "Naagin" is a finite series, but, seeing the success and popularity of the show, Balaji Telefilms have decided to extend the time by a few months.
Actors who had hoped to get on with their lives are now in a dilemma, because they have already committed their dates to some other show and have prior commitments. We hear that Ekta Kapoor has asked them to extend their contracts for a few more months.
Well, there is some more good news for fans. While season one of "Naagin" is not yet over, the makers are already planning to make a sequel to the show. While we are still unclear whether the show will have the same actors or some newbies, we are sure the show will continue to entertain audiences.
The gossip vines claim that the makers have approached Gurmeet Choudhary of "Khamoshiyan" fame for the lead role. However, the actor reportedly claims that he is doing no such show and was never approached for it either.
