Orasi Software, a quality-focused, Atlanta, Georgia-based software reseller and professional services company, named Hardik Parekh to the quality management system team as manager of mobile and IoT automation. The Indian American executive initially worked for Orasi as an independent contractor before being hired to the new position. Parekh formerly worked as an automation lead at Verizon Telematics. He has worked on projects for client companies ranging from AT&T and Cox Media to Capital Group, Autotrader and Food Lion. Originally from India, Parekh moved to the U.S. to pursue an advanced degree and seek additional career opportunities. He is a graduate of Nirma University and North Carolina State University.

Toyota Motor named Sudeep Dalvi as the head of sourcing in North America. The company also named N. Raja as the deputy managing director of Toyota Kirloskar, the local unit of the Japanese company. The changes are aimed at improving the objectivity and agility of the management team at various functional drives, Toyota said. At Toyota Motor North America, Dalvi would head the purchase functionalities at the company's largest global base. Raja has been with Toyota Kirloskar for five years.

Ocular Therapeutix Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, named Naymisha Patel as VP of quality. Patel’s experience leading teams as well as building quality systems and overseeing regulatory compliance will be extremely valuable to the company as it prepares for the resubmission of the DEXTENZA NDA, the company said. Patel most recently served as the head of global quality at Prothena Corporation plc, before which she served as VP of regulatory and quality of StemCells, Inc. Patel holds a B.A. from California State University, B.S. from Maharaja Sayajirao University and an M.B.A. from Northcentral University in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Roofstock, an online marketplace for buying and selling leased single-family rental homes, named Suresh Srinivasan as chief marketing officer. Srinivasan most recently served as the senior VP of marketing for Xome. He brings a deep understanding of the fast-growing real estate technology sector to Roofstock where he will be responsible for accelerating growth of Roofstock’s marketplace for single-family rental homes and developing the company’s partnership network, the company said.

Bridgepoint Consulting, an Addison Group company and Texas-based leader in finance, IT and management consulting services, announced the addition of Vijay George as director of its technology consulting practice. George most recently provided independent strategic consulting services. Prior to that, he was the CIO/CTO and director of innovation and technology for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. He also led the statewide ERP modernization initiative, as well as government transparency programs and security and privacy improvement efforts for the agency. George earned degrees at Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin and St. Edwards University. Currently, he serves as the chapter president for Austin SIM and on the St. Edward’s University Business School advisory board.

Vikas Sharma has been appointed as Sevatec’s chief solutions architect for cloud services. Sharma brings more than 20 years of in-depth industry experience in enterprise and cloud transformation for federal entities such as Department of Homeland Security Headquarters, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, General Services Administration and the Food and Drug Administration.
